Graduate Student
Dylan Mah is a doctoral student in biology who to RPI in the Fall of 2018. He is co-advised by Professors Chunyu Wang and Robert Linhardt. He received a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from SUNY Binghamton University in the Fall of 2015, and worked in a clinical laboratory prior to coming to RPI. His area of research interest is the molecular biology of aging and age-related diseases, with a focus on the role of cell surface glycosaminoglycans in the pathophysiology of Alzheimer’s Disease. He was accepted into the NIGMS (National Institute of General Medical Sciences) Training Program in Biomolecular Sciences and Engineering in the Fall of 2019. In his spare time, he enjoys programming, cycling, and video games.
