Graduate Student
As a Schenectady native, I have lived in the capital region all my life. I went to SUNY Albany for my undergraduate degree, and graduated in 2012 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I was accepted into RPI in 2012, and joined the Linhardt lab as a first year graduate student to work on enzymes needed for the bioengineering of heparin. My areas of interest include protein engineering, enzyme structure and mechanism of action. Outside of the lab I have many interests, which include playing music, cooking, astronomy, and brewing beer.
